HIGH SCHOOL IN AMERICA – what are the myths?

Last Wednesday we had another visitor form America, Jennifer Irons.  Jennifer has visited our school before. She talked about the state of Virginia and about the freedom of religious as a distinctive principle that helped  to build the US as we know it. This time, Jennifer talked about average high schoolers and their struggles. We often imagine American High Schools as free of worries and filled with exciting events.  Jennifer showed my students that these teenagers face the same challenges as they do. They solve similar and often more complex problems than teenagers in Poland.
